FARO 2005

This years meeting at Faro promises to be one of the best yet. This is probably the biggest meeting outside of Sturges and is a great meet.

The Big Fella

REMEMBER THE POLICE IN PORTUGAL ARE NOT THE MOST FORGIVING IN THE WORLD, DON'T DRINK AND RIDE.
STATISTICS SHOW THAT 89% OF FATAL ACCIDENTS IN PORTUGAL INVOLVING BIKES WAS THE FAULT OF FOREIGN CAR DRIVERS.

We intend setting off from Norwich and London and meeting on the M23 then to the Tunnel and away we go. The plan is to cover 500 miles per day between beer stops so should be great fun.

Being the wimps that we are and being used to roughing it and all that we have booked into a nice 4* Hotel complex with real food, real beds and hot and cold private running water.A far cry I know from what we are used to but hey we all have to suffer for the greater good,

This hotel is a bit of a bonus for us as Jon booked us into a real nice hotel in Madera, I guess he wanted to swim to the mainland.
